Jonah
Blum (b.1976) is a composer and arranger, creating works for groups ranging
from choir to jazz ensemble. His works
have been performed at concerts and festivals throughout America and Europe. Jonah is an active saxophonist, and is
co-founder of the improvisation ensemble Jonah
& the Whalers. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy and a Bachelor of Music in saxophone performance from Northwestern University, where he studied with Dr. Frederick L. Hemke.
